Privacy Policy

Werewolf Narrator is run by Signal and Form, based in British Columbia, Canada. The short version: there are no accounts, your games stay on your phone, and we only handle what we need to run the narrator and Narrator Plus.

What stays on your device

Player names, the game in progress, your settings and (if you buy it) your Plus pass are saved in your browser's local storage so a refresh doesn't lose the game. They aren't sent to us. Clearing your browser data removes them.

Spoken names (Narrator Plus)

With Plus, the narrator speaks your players' names. To do that, the line to be spoken, including the player's name, is sent to our server and to ElevenLabs, the voice service that generates the audio. The finished audio is cached so the same line isn't generated twice. Use first names or nicknames if you'd rather not send full names. The free version doesn't send names anywhere.

Payments

Narrator Plus is sold through Stripe, which processes the payment and acts as the reseller. Stripe collects your payment details and email under its own privacy policy; we never see your card. We receive your email address and confirmation of the purchase, and use them only to unlock Plus, restore it on another device and answer support requests.

Analytics

We use Vercel Web Analytics to count page views and see which pages are useful. It doesn't use cookies and doesn't identify you personally. Our hosting provider, Vercel, also keeps standard server logs (such as IP addresses) for security and reliability.

What we don't do

We don't sell your data, show ads, run advertising trackers or build profiles of you.

Children

Werewolf Narrator is a party game for groups and isn't directed at children under 13. We don't knowingly collect personal information from them.
