Start a gameHow it works
Step 1
Add the players
Type in 5 to 18 names. The app suggests a balanced set of roles for your group, or pick your own.
Step 2
Pass the phone
Each player taps to see their secret role, hides it, and hands the phone on.
Step 3
Let the narrator run the night
Put the phone in the middle. A voice wakes each role in turn; they take the phone, choose, and go back to sleep.
Step 4
Debate and vote
At dawn the narrator announces who died. A timer runs the discussion, then the village votes someone out.

Questions
Do we still need a human narrator?
No. The app is the narrator (or moderator), so everyone at the table gets to play. It reads the night script aloud, tracks who is alive, resolves the Witch's potions, the Doctor's save, Cupid's lovers and the Hunter's last shot, and announces the winner.
Is Werewolf Narrator free?
Yes. The core game is free with no sign-up and no ads in the middle of the night.
Does it work offline?
Yes. Add it to your home screen and it works without a connection, which helps at campsites, cabins and parties with bad Wi-Fi. The narrator's voice is downloaded the first time you open the game, so it keeps talking offline.
How many players do you need?
Between 5 and 18. Eight to twelve is the sweet spot: enough suspects for real debate, short enough that eliminated players aren't waiting long.
Can we play Mafia with it?
Yes. Mafia and Werewolf are the same game with different names. Switch to the Mafia theme in settings and the narrator calls the Mafia, the Detective and the town, with Mafia artwork to match.
